What is a plugin?
A plugin is an optional component that you can install into WordPress in order to somehow change the behaviour of your WordPress blog/web site. Some are very simple (such as those that create a widget (block) that you can put into your side bar e.g. Simple Image Widget). Others are far more complex. I’ve not tried it but you can even make WordPress operate as an e-Commerce site using the WP-e-commerce pluginWhich plugins are included in a WordPress one page Wonder (WoW)?
